What i wore:
Top: Kohl's $12
Skirt: Forever 21 $8
Tights: Target $3.50
Shoes: Forever 21 $12  (Christmas gift)

Today was a work day.  As I said before, I work over at Kohl's.  Depending on what they have me there for I'll either dress up or dress down.  Today I dressed up a bit.  I actually had a blazer on as well, but i took it off when I got home.  It was just much to warm inside.  It was actually a fairly busy day today at work.  The start of a new sale and coupon this week has brought plenty of people in.  Oddly enough it was busier in the morning before noon than it was afterwards.  Usually around 2 it starts dying down a bit, because people go pick up their kids from school.  Oh well, what can you do.  Tomorrow I won't be stuck at the registers, so I probably won't dress up as nicely, but we'll see.  I still try to make myself look decent, but its hard to do so early in the morning.

When i got home I was originally going to try closing my eyes for a little bit, as I've still been pretty wiped out. However upon turning on my computer I saw an article about Bank of America planning to charge their customers $5 a month for using their debit card.  I don't know about you guys, but I don't want to be charged for using my own money.  For some time now I'd been wanting to switch to a credit union, but I kept losing track of things and not really having the motivation to do so.  However upon reading the article I now had reason to leave.  I plan to switch over ASAP.  I actually already set up the account, just need to give work the routing and checking number for direct deposit.  Because of all this though, I never did get a chance to close my eyes.  Haha-  oh well.  I suppose it wasn't entirely necessary.

I hope everyone else had a good day though.  :)

A wee bit tired

Drawing of my outfit for today.
Cardigan: Target
Green Sweater: Kohl's $15
Scarf: G-Stage $5
Pants: Kohl's $15
Boots: Simply Vera Kohl's $25
Purse: Kohl's $12

lost of layers today.  It just hasn't warmed up just yet, so I'm still cold.  This small body of mine can't handle the heat... nor can it handle the cold.  The orange part of my outfit is a cami.  I don't show those because i get them from these little shops around town usually.  That particular one I just got recently for $1.50.

I got out of the shower and decided today I would braid my hair.  It's been so long i nearly forgot how to.  Took me a while but I eventually got it right.  Funny how we forget how to do simple things like that.  Got class today as well, so I don't know if I'll be wearing those boots all day, for now though I will.  Going to be heading out to lunch with my mom now though.  Hope you all are having a good day!  <3

Free Day

Dress: thrifted and refashioned $2
tights: Target $3.50
Elephant Necklace: Christmas gift
Chain necklace: Kohl's $6

The weather here has been a little odd. Its been cool in the mornings and evenings, but during the day to was in the 90s. Not the funnest temperature, but thankfully its not real humid here. It also helped that I had the day to myself. I didn't have anywhere to go or anyone to see so I didn't get dressed right away, at least not until closer to 9 or 10 in the morning. For those of you wondering why I have no shoes on.... I was too lazy to put them back on. They were technically the same ones I wore yesterday, not that there is a real picture of that.

I'm still trying to get use to this whole take pictures thing. Haha... its awkward? I see other blogs that take like gorgeously natural pictures. Every time I'm thrown in front of the camera I get all awkward and the pictures definitely reflect that. Hopefully as I become more comfortable with this they'll look better, but until then everyone will have to just enjoy what I've got.

No photographs tomorrow again, school day. Hopefully I'll at least get a drawing up of my outfit. Until next time folks~ <3

Someday..

No photograph today, got no one around to take the picture for me, so instead you get a highly inaccurate drawing of myself?
Cardigan: Target $15
t-shirt: Kohl's $4
Shoes: Kohl's $10

Nothing too exciting for today. Got a class where we're working with wood and such, so I try not to wear any dresses and such on these days... try. I sometimes wear one anyways.

So for today I'll just talk about plans for the future. I've really been wanting to try the 30 for 30 challenge. I keep telling myself, someday... someday. Well instead of saying that I should just jump into it. My hardest part is deciding what items to use.
Recently I worked on cleaning out my closet and was planning to get rid of some clothes I haven't worn in a while. However I might just turn around and decide to throw those into the challenge, force myself to try and make them work. But we'll see how it goes.

Officially started?

Lets get this show on the road shall we? I'm completely new to this and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing, so I apologize if its not great or fantastic.

What i wore:

As I initially stated in my first post, I work at Kohl's so the majority of my clothes I get from there. Today it seems almost everything I am wearing is from Kohl's.

sheer poncho top: $16
jeans: $15
Boots: $32

These are the sale prices, before I whip out my coupons. I do have a kohl's charge, which gives me monthly savings up to 30% plus additionally whatever associate discount they might give us, as well as other coupons that might come in the mail. I've learned to try and stack on the savings as best I can.
Here is a not so great close up of me though, so you can see the earrings I am wearing as well. I don't quite remember how much i paid for them, but they were from Kohl's as well.

I haven't really spent my day doing too much- just working on a project for school, which is killing my hand:

The blog to be.

Hello there~

First post on my blog- or well the first post since I've decided to refurbish it.

I've recently been enjoying looking through various fashion blogs and enjoying them immensely that I've been inspired to try one out myself. So within the next couple of days I plan to bring this baby back to life and post up some pictures. I also want to try to share the places and prices of the items I have, for what i remember anyways. Most of my clothes are either from kohl's or some little no name shops, but we'll see how it all turns out once I get started. <3
